Timmorie Freeman was born in San Diego, California and grew up outside of Chicago, Illinois. She received her formal training at the Ruth Page School of Dance, followed by a Trainee position with Ballet West. After participating in the International Dance Experience, Timmorie was offered the opportunity to be one of the first Americans to train full time at La Escuela Nacional de Ballet “Fernando Alonso” in Havana, Cuba, as well as take part in the “Cuba y Chicago” Exchange. Having spent a year in Cuba, she then joined City Ballet of San Diego for two seasons. Timmorie is currently a Trainee with Alonzo King LINES Ballet and is excited to expand in her contemporary ballet movement. She has also spent summers and exchanges training with the Vienna State Opera Ballet Academy, the Berlin State Ballet School, Ellison Ballet, Houston Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet, Mandala Dance Company, and Opificio en Moviemiento.
